
Teaching Artistry
Ms. Goodman is an in-demand educator and a Teaching Artist for the Metropolitan Opera, Little Orchestra Society, and New York City Children’s Theater, and previously the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Los Angeles Opera, and many others. She has taught residencies in schools throughout New York City Public Schools and Los Angeles Unified School District, designed educational programming for major American opera companies, and remotely instructed in classrooms across the country, as well as presenting at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies’ 2022 Mid-Atlantic Teaching Artist Virtual Retreat. Ms. Goodman has designed video learning segments for the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Los Angeles Opera, and Opera Saratoga.
While at Fort Worth Opera for the 2024-2025 season, she helped facilitate a masterclass for high school students at Bass Hall. She has previously worked with freshman voice students at the University of North Texas alongside presenting a guest artist recital on American song. In summer 2025, she looks forward to facilitating a masterclass for voice students as a guest artist at a prestigious high school summer program, to be announced at a later date.
Ms. Goodman maintains a small online studio of private voice students based across North America.
